Who is Yapvest?
Original character for streaming and making content. This project mixes art and technology to create fun stuff and share it with people online.
Yapvestik began as a fun idea with friends. She is a shy but playful character who lives in the internet and loves videogames.

A fully reimagined character model inspired by cyberpunk aesthetics. New outfit, new story. A more mature, polished, and dynamic version of the character, rebuilt with an upgraded design philosophy and fixed flaws from earlier versions.

Her first design had two outfits: an oversized casual look for her “everyday human mode,” and a simple light-techwear version that showed she was an AI spider living in the internet. Both outfits helped express her gentle and playful personality and her connection to the digital world.

I made it myself using VRoid Studio and free clothing assets. It’s not a model I built from scratch, but I carefully chose every piece to reflect my character.
At first, I tried drawing my own avatar… but turns out I’m way better at putting things together than starting with a blank canvas.
Most VTubers go for Live2D, but I picked 3D because it’s more accessible and beginner-friendly.
Someday I’d love to commission a custom Live2D model — but for now, this setup works great for me and feels really me.

I’m still learning, but it’s so exciting to see the avatar move, dance, and show off a little personality!
Sometimes it’s silly, sometimes it looks like a full music video — and I love both.
There’s a lot of potential here, and I’m enjoying every second of exploring it.
